Signed up because I was tired of my foundation looking cakey and never blending into my neck. This walked me through why that happens and how prep and the right shade fix it. The eye section was a nice bonus, I can do a simple everyday wash of color now without it looking messy. Straightforward, honest, and no fluff. Would recommend to anyone nervous about starting.

What I appreciated most was how much time was spent on the boring but important stuff, like actually prepping and priming the skin before anything else. A lot of guides skip straight to the fun colorful part. Here the base was treated as the foundation of everything, pun intended, and it shows in how much better my makeup sits now. The everyday versus glam breakdown at the end was a great way to tie it all together.
The part about which brush actually does what finally clicked for me. I used to own a bunch of tools and had no idea what half of them were for. Now my everyday look takes half the time.
I finally understand how to match foundation to my actual skin tone instead of guessing at the store.
Love this!
Learned so much already.
Explained color matching in a way that finally made sense to me.
Really approachable pace. Nothing felt rushed and the eye makeup steps were broken down enough that I could actually copy them at home.
I came in knowing basically nothing and left feeling like I could do a clean natural face on my own. The order of the lessons makes sense, starting with prepping the skin, then getting the base right, then moving on to the eyes. The blending tips especially stuck with me because that was always where my makeup used to look patchy. Really happy I took this.
So helpful, thank you.
Good foundational course. The color theory around undertones was the most useful bit for me, though I wish the everyday look and the glam look had been split into two longer lessons instead of one.
As someone who has watched a hundred random tutorials and still felt lost, having it laid out in a proper order helped a lot. The skin prep and color matching lessons were the strongest parts and cleared up a lot of my confusion about undertones. The only thing keeping this from a perfect score for me is that the section on tools felt a little quick, I wanted more detail on caring for the brushes. Still, very much worth it for a beginner.
Clear and easy to follow if you're starting from absolute zero like I was.
Great for total beginners.
Simple, calm, and genuinely useful. My everyday look actually lasts through the day now that I prep properly.
Never knew skin prep made such a difference until I actually started priming first.
Good beginner course, wish it went a little deeper on blending for hooded eyes.
The blending section on its own was worth the whole course for me.
Solid intro to the essentials. I would have liked a bit more on contouring, but for beginner eye makeup and color matching it covers the important stuff really well.
