このコースについて
Data analysis is a vital skill in the modern workforce, and R remains one of the most powerful tools for turning raw numbers into meaningful insights. This course simplifies the learning process, transforming complex statistical concepts into accessible text-based explanations and practical exercises designed for those with zero coding background.
You will transition from understanding basic syntax to performing independent data exploration. By reading through structured explanations and practicing with code examples, you will develop the logic needed to solve real-world data problems and communicate your findings through clear visual representations.
What you'll learn:
- Understand foundational R syntax and the programming environment
- Master essential data structures including vectors, matrices, and lists
- Apply conditional logic and control statements to automate tasks
- Build custom, reusable functions to streamline your analysis workflow
- Create meaningful visualizations such as histograms and line plots
- Practice modern data manipulation using pipe operators and tidy data principles
- Analyze diverse datasets to extract actionable conclusions
The course begins with essential terminology and environment basics before progressing through data structures, logical operations, and practical visualization techniques. This structured approach ensures you build a strong theoretical foundation before moving into practical application.
This course is specifically designed for absolute beginners, including students and professionals transitioning into data-focused roles. No prior experience in programming or advanced statistics is required to succeed. Start your journey into the world of statistical programming today.
A good introduction. The structure was mostly clear, but I wish there were a few more real-world examples. Still, learned a lot.

Not sure this was the best way to learn this. The examples felt a bit dated, and the overall structure was confusing. I needed external resources to make sense of it.
